Self-insert

I wanted a better title so I wouldn’t scare people away from this piece, but nothing came to mind. This is an illustration for a story I’m planning to write. Right now, I have chapters 1 through 5 pretty much figured out, but I’m just not sure how to end it.

Basic idea: Avatar Fan (not her name) is kidnapped by a spirit, who wants her to find four artifacts in the Avatar World/World of Four Nations, and since the spirit is her only way back, she agrees. The next four chapters take place during episodes 14-17, with Fan trying to find the artifacts, not interfere with the story, and keep from being killed. That’s where I get stuck, see at the end of chapter 5/episode 17, Aang and co. find her out, and she has to spill. She’s realized there’s more to this than collecting baubles, the artifacts are very powerful, and she’s sure the spirit’s up to no good. She wants to find a way to get back to her world without potentially destroying this one. I just have to figure out how without making it a cop-out.
