Four Years Ago: Part 1

Ya know, it feels kinda weird doing only one (well, two) comic pages at a time. On one hand, it's good for me, because I don't get bored and lazy from working on a single step so long. (Penciling all the pages, then inking, then reinking, then shading, etc.) On the other hand I wanna do all the pages right now! And I learned I need more drying time between layers of shading. o.O I still had to thumbnail it all first, that part's really important, I had to redo the last half.

Anyway, this is a flashback, if my brilliant title somehow confused you. XD Sanzo has short(er) hair, it was odd drawing it that way.

And Maseo is so cute! *picks up the three-year-old and snuggles him* The last thing Sanzo expected was for a toddler to greet him at the door. And Maseo's so proud, he's practiced saying that phrase over and over so he could help his Mama with customers. *squeals* Between him and Goku, I'm gonna go into a sugar coma after this one.

Also, I want to say that although I've got a timeline, I'm kinda sketchy on how well it fits canon timeline, so hopefully I don't totally screw up.
